In 2011 as a college student at Northwest Missouri State, I began experimenting with a graphic design program in my dorm room as a way to create custom graphics for my family’s show cattle operation, Mittag Show Cattle. Countless hours were spent learning the ins-and-outs of this craft along with perfecting my skills. Shortly after those initial graphics were seen by family friends and other livestock producers and sellers, the inquiries for my services began and Mittag Design was officially formed.

In 2013, Mittag Design expanded its services when we got our first camera. Similar to our start in graphic design, photography and videography was incorporated to be able to take pictures and videos for Mittag Show Cattle’s annual club calf sale. The first animal I ever pictured with this camera happened to be a $42,000 high seller that later went on to win AK-SAR-BEN. From the beginning, we were very fortunate to work with some very progressive young producers, many of whom we still picture and video for today.

2020 was a huge year for Mittag Design, when owner Tucker Mittag left his banking career to operate the business full-time.  2021 is a milestone year for Mittag Design as we celebrate our 10 year anniversary.
